Public School was established in March 1996 with the sole purpose of imparting quality English medium education at the Kindergarten level mostly by use of ‘Play-Way’ technique.
All classrooms are well-equipped
with black boards, colourful soft
toys, pictorial charts, story books, fans and safe
and brightly coloured furniture for
children.
She was born in Shillong (Meghalaya) to Shri Bhadreswar Handique of
Titabar and Rajkumari
Aruna Handique of Golaghat (Assam). She grew up with memorable years
of childhood and
schooling in places like Kashmir, Bangalore, Punjab and Delhi in
various defence setups
(Indian Air Force). Having done her MA in English Literature from
Punjab University,
Chandigarh and B.Ed. from Annamalai University, Chennai, she has
also studied Mass
Communication and Journalism (batch of 2010-12) from Gauhati
University.
